Hey folks, we just released a Chrome extension to save images from around the web! Check it out: https://www.producthunt.com/posts/image-saver-by-playbook
Andrea Juwono
I paste so many URLS and images into Playbook boards today, Playbook turns them into assets for me - it's lovely!

Wait for it so much
Jeff Anders
This and/or some sort of posting bookmarklet! Especially on mobile, the flow is clunky to share something I've found. Would love to see my Playbook team somehow as an option in the native share sheet. Thanks!

This would be extra useful
Vicky Hughes
Agreed - with a link back to the source so I can keep track of citing my references
Torsten Peters
I would support this but in the form of image upload from several urls
Ben Kaiser
I agree, people should beable to quickly pull images to there boards. An example for yall to look into is a website called Mila note.
Michael Nÿkamp
Let's not do that.
Leonardo Coppi
I'm worried this would make Playbook too similar to pintrest. Opinions?
Michael Nÿkamp
Leonardo Coppi: I agree. I was told that this would not be a Pintrest like site.

Leonardo Coppi and Michael Nÿkamp: don't worry, we'll stay focused on cloud storage and creative tools. We already do support linking URLs, since sometimes you want to keep your stored files and stored links in the same place. I think a browser extension like this would be a great addon: not our main focus, but could harmonize well and make it easier to make moodboards if that's your thing.
